Busy Time for new events

66 New events added this year already and that’s without the changes to events – cancellations, changes to times, venue moves etc. and that’s excluding the 94 events that were added in December alone.

If you know of a wedding fayre we’ve missed then please don’t hesitate to add it using our wedding fayres submission page and we’ll review and add it as soon as we can. Apologies in advance if there are delays in you seeing it on our site – but we do review every wedding fayre listing before we allow it to go live.

Obviously – with over 100 events scheduled for January we expect that we shouldn’t see too many more events added for this month and we already have over 170 events across the country booked for February already with more added every week and before long we should start to see the next round of events added ready for the next season’s wedding fayres.

Coverage in Scotland

Interestingly, one area where we are really light on wedding fayres is the whole of Scotland, we know they happen there and we do get the occasional listing, but since we started we’ve always had problems getting listings for events there.

This may be partly down to the way we’ve set up the counties in Scotland – but they do seem to move regularly – is it Elginshire or Moray for example.

If you do know of any up coming wedding fayres – you can add them to our main site and then they’ll appear here as soon as they are approved

Lots of events this weekend

Another busy weekend ahead for event organisers with lots of events this weekend taking place, there are fayres that we know of spread over 30 counties this weekend, with quite a few Saturday events and two day wedding fayres taking place.

Wedding fayres are a great opportunity not only for you to find the suppliers you need but also for you to get a chance to look at some of the venues – most will have a room dressed for the occasion – it also gives you a chance to see if the theme you’ve chosen actually fits into the venue.

Also – there are quite a few opportunities to get discounted prices on the day¬† – although you still shouldn’t feel pressured on the day – it’s your big day so you need to make sure that whoever you arrange to do something you are going to be happy with on the day.

Most organisers mix up the suppliers so that you have a range of prices (and services) although they do tend to limit the number in each category so don’t expect to be able to pick from 5 or 6 photographers in any one event (and remember – they pay to exhibit there as well!)

So since this is one of the busy weekends of this season with lots of events for you to go to – have a good day looking at getting things organised ready for the big day, whether it’s just the venue you need to find, or photographers, stationary, wedding cars, chocolate fountains or you just want to see a bridal exhibition to see if you like the latest fashions and to give you some ideas for bridal gowns – have a good weekend.

Allow enough time to go round the fayre – and don’t forget that some of the exhibitors may not be in the main area.

One of our favourite venues wins an award

The sosban restaurant which has a showcase wedding fayre on the 12th April 2015 has been named as the Best Place to Eat in the large restaurant category of the National Tourism Awards for Wales 2015.

It completes the hat-trick, following its success as the AA Guide’s Best Restaurant in Wales in 2013, and the Welsh Restaurant of the Year in 2014.

I can certainly confirm that the food there is of the highest quality and the pictures of the venue dressed for a wedding look stunning
I’m looking forward to my next visit there

Autumn Wedding Fayres going on thick and fast

Autumn Wedding Fayres

Busy updating the site with the Autumn Wedding Fayres, they are coming in regularly 94 new events added in less than 2 months, don’t forget that the link to add a new event is Submit Event on our main site and that it can take up to 3 days for reviews.

Any accepted events will appear on both sites on the same day although there may be a slight delay in events appearing on this site if we update the details.

Just email us through one of our Contact Forms if you need any changes to your events preferably telling us which county the Wedding Fayre is in – saves me a lot of searching!

We’ve listed over 12000 Wedding fayres since we started this site because we couldn’t find any wedding fayres in our local area when my daughter was getting married
